The Blinken Report
Written Jun. 12 12 am EST
How is your peace plan working in the Middle East, Blinken? It isn’t. Why is Hamas so eager to agree to the plan, but Israel continues to stall to buy time for its elimination operation? The Hamas goal is to exit the war in Gaza still intact, as they continue to hide among women and children, cowards, but Israel wants the terror group removed from earth. A cease fire may release the hostages, but does not solve the issue of a separate Palestinian state, which Israel will never agree to. So both sides will continue to fight another day. Intermittent war will proceed in the future and the size of the West Bank and Gaza will continue to shrink, due to new Israeli settlements. Just how do you propose to keep Hamas out of power in Gaza? You can’t. The dead have relatives in the millions and you gave them the greatest recruitment tool, vengeance. It is wishful thinking, that Hamas will fold. An Arab peace keeping force in place will still allow smuggling for a price especially from Egypt. The idea that Palestinians can return to their homes, really. What homes, they are all destroyed. Just who is going to rebuild Gaza in this phased plan, don’t even look at U.S. taxpayer money. Everyone agrees to a plan, which can not be implemented, as there is no final solution, which will bring true peace. Again the administration and State Department led by Blinken seems to offer a peace plan to minimize damage in the November elections, but neither side will in the end agree to the terms the world put in place, as the plan was not completely thought through. Really, this is world leadership at its best? We can do better.
